🎢 A 5-star staycation that mixes Downton Abbey–style manor vibes with a full-blown outdoor playground. The Sequoia spa goes full black-pool hypnosis, with top-tier treatments and a 22-metre swim. Outside: a tournament-ready 18-hole course, a heated outdoor pool, tennis, cycling trails, woodland paths and a walled garden where everything’s in its place. And on the food front: the tried-and-tested Glasshouse buffet, The Stables gastropub set in the old stables and Madhu’s Indian plates you really shouldn’t skip.

Literally the ultimate experience of luxury and relaxation. The Grove makes other 5* hotels seem sun-par. I can’t wait for my next stay.
