🎢 A five-star staycation in a Tudor manor tucked away in the Surrey countryside, just outside London. 16th-century fireplaces, mullioned windows, perfectly sculpted gardens… it feels like stepping straight into a period drama. Here, time slows down. From May to September, you can unwind with access to the art-deco heated outdoor pool, then sink into the hot tub for peak relaxation. In the evening, it’s cocktails at the bar to keep the vibe going. The next morning, breakfast for two (extra) overlooking the gardens in a light-filled room sets the tone, before one last wander through the 50 acres of parkland - and only then, back to reality.
Overall, we had a lovely stay and staff were attentive. Food in the cocktail bar for lunch and then at the Terrace grill for dinner were great. Breakfast however was just okay, we ended up waiting an hour for food as they were a little overwhelmed.
Very good experience, great staff with amazing attention to detail. The room was big and the different features of the property make it a perfect stay for a couple of nights.
