🎢 A staycation in a Victorian property set on the banks of the Thames. A former neo-Gothic residence, the place leans fully into dark wood panelling, grand staircases and lounges straight out of an English novel. The rooms follow the same line, mixing British classicism with modern comfort. Downstairs, bar, restaurant and shared spaces flow like an oversized family home. For downtime, the spa features an indoor pool, sauna and hammam. Outside, the park and the river do the rest.
Great place, very nice room and very good breakfast. The service needs improvement: our room was not ready, a member of staff entered our room while we were in it, and the receipt did not include an itemised list of the products.
We had a great time - the photos and descriptions don’t do it justice! Highly recommend for a sunny weekend away
Great - enjoyed a lot the property and all it had to offer. Very smooth experience with staycation!
Beautiful hotel however several points need to be reviewed - no Staycation pouch in the room, the breakfast is not great and the children were very noisy
