Good Hotel London ****
🎢 A staycation in a floating hotel on the Thames. Walking along Royal Victoria Dock, you’ll find a massive black shipping container turned hotel. Originally built as a Danish prison, this floating gem sailed from Amsterdam and docked in London in 2016. Inside, the design is slick and pared-back, with earthy tones, low-hanging lights, and origami-inspired lampshades. In the cabin rooms, minimal Dutch design meets extra-comfy beds and fluffy pillows. At the restaurant, The Living Room, a communal dining table brings guests together over vegetarian and vegan-friendly dishes served all day, plus locally brewed beers and signature sustainable cocktails. Upstairs, the rooftop bar and terrace (open in spring and summer) offer incredible long views over Royal Victoria Dock, the O2, and that iconic London skyline.
